2024-2025 Carling Knockout Cup Launch
The 2024-2025 Carling Back Label Cup has been introduced by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) at Sandton, Johannesburg’s The Galleria
Carol Tshabalala of Supersport TV and Andile Ncube of SABC presented the launch, respectively. The prestigious competition made its debut in the 2023–2024 season, and Stellenbosch FC emerged victorious after overcoming TS Galaxy 5–4 on penalties.
This tournament, which goes by the tagline Fak’Ugesi, incorporates both teams and fans as a whole. Participating in the Fak’igoli uzobona competition will give fans the opportunity to win more prizes. To win, fans must correctly predict the team and minute of the first goal in any Carling Knockout Cup or Carling Cup match on one of the SAB’s platforms (a “Correct Fak’ iGoal Uzobona Prediction”). Category 2’s mechanic for the applicable Carling Knockout Cup and/or Carling Cup Match will close on or before the relevant Carling Knockout Cup Match or Carling Cup Match starts, in the Promoter, or its agent’s sole discretion. The value of this category is R90, 000.00.
The player who receives the most votes from the fans will win R100,000.00 per game as the Man of the Match.
