Buccaneers Held by Granada CF

During their preseason tour in Spain on Wednesday night, the Orlando Pirates and Granada CF drew 1-1.
In the 19th minute, Delvi Miguel Vieira, better known as Gilberto, scored a stunning goal. After a mistake by the Pirates defense, Granada’s Shon Weissman scored a spectacular goal three minutes later.

Pirates coach Jose Riveiro was pleased with his team’s performance and gave his lads kudos for persevering till the very end. Additionally, he mentioned that using a false nine when playing will be a possibility.

Their final friendly match of the preseason, scheduled for Friday, July 19, 2024, against AL Sadd SC, will take place before they return to Orlando, Soweto.
