Mnyamane Hangs His Boots
Thabo Mnyamane, a former player for Supersport United and Marumo Gallants, has decided to retire at the age of 32, just two days after celebrating his birthday. This decision comes after a rift between him and his former team, Marumo Gallants, during the 2021-2022 DSTV Premiership season, and things have not been the same since.
Mnyamane assumed the position of a performance analyst for the Tuks Women’s team. He made an announcement on his Instagram account on the 19th of August 2024, revealing his decision to retire from football, a dream he cherished since childhood. He expressed gratitude to all the teams he had the opportunity to play for, spanning from amateur to professional levels.
He expressed gratitude to his ex-teammates, as well as to his fans for the unwavering support they have demonstrated, both on and off the field. Additionally, he extended his thanks to his family and friends.
Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Khanyisa Mayo, Kamogelo Mokotjo, Ronwen Williams, and Brighton Mhlongo, among others, extended their best wishes as they have previously been teammates in the professional league.
