Nabi Rejects Portugal Striker
Nasreddine Nabi, the new coach of Kaizer Chiefs, is hard at work ensuring that Amakhosi dominate the next 2024–2025 Betway Premiership season. Chiefs moved quickly to get the Tunisian manager after placing tenth in the DSTV Premiership the previous season.
Nabi claims he is still in the process of signing players, having already signed seven of them. “So far I am not yet happy with the team (Chiefs squad) but we probably going to be where we want to be.” he informed the press. “Being the best team in Africa, I want the best players for Kaizer Chiefs. I’d rather not sign players who are merely ok. I declined a Portuguese striker because he is not on the same level as Kaizer Chiefs.”

Nabi praised the newly signed players Njabulo Blom and Bradley Cross. “I’m delighted to have Njabulo here. He is a highly skilled player.” Nabi remarked, “He’s from the Chiefs family. Bradley is quality and has a (great) personality. You must use him appropriately. He’s a young player as well.”
In response to a question regarding the Chiefs’ dismal performance, Nasreddine seemed certain that he is prepared to play in the approaching campaign. “My mission is to bring Kaizer Chiefs back where they were before and cause big problem to all the 15 PSL coaches.” giggles Nabi.
Chiefs’ next match is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 17:30 at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein versus Marumo Gallants.
