Sevilla FC Loses Against Pirates in Spain

After last Friday’s 2-2 tie with Plymouth Argyle of the English Championship, Orlando Pirates defeated Sevilla FC of La Liga by a score of two goals to zero.
Pirates are continuing to get ready for their next season back home in South Africa, and this pre-season game has been successful.

Bucs’ captain, Miguel Timm, opened the scoring for Pirates with a spectacular goal from the near post in the 21st minute. Kabelo Dlamini added another exquisite goal with his left foot in the 81st minute.
After the game, Dlamini was conversing with Thomas Mlambo and appeared excited. He assured him that he would frame his game-winning goal and expressed his happiness at being a member of the team that faced Sevilla FC.

Pirates will first play a friendly match against Granada on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, before taking on Al Sadd FC. The game will be broadcasted live on Supersport PSL Channel 202 at 7pm.

The 2024/2025 DSTV Premiership is scheduled to begin in the first week of August 2024.
